nothing anon she’s still here
Anonymous asked:
but what is jaime is carrying his hand with him (or probably the bones at that point), could they bring him back with the hand? it wouldn't be regenerating, it would be.... just putting him together?
they state that they can’t bring ned stark back because he’s headless
if they could put people back together they’d do it to him as well
pajamasandearlgrey asked:
Just like Robb's death broke Catelyn's heart so when she's revived, her heart is still destroyed
why u hurt me so bad
Anonymous asked:
if jaime got killed and then revived by thoros he wouldn't get his hand back cause beric didn't get his eye back
yep we established there are no regenerative qualities of the red god’s resurrections
Anonymous asked:

Anonymous asked:
that thing jon killed in the first season, and the thing sam killed this season, is not the same thing? because bran saind no one has killed one in years, or he just don't know about jon?
the thing jon killed was a wight the thing sam killed was a white walker/other
a wight is a reanimated corpse that still retains some memory of his/her/it’s past life but ultimately (or more accurately usually) serves The Others

I've been thinking about this lately: say Jaime is killed by zombie!Cat but then Thoros kinda sorta revives him, would he get his hand back? I do realise this sounds too good and that Cat's throat didn't heal but... this whole bringing people back from the dead one way or another thing that's pretty much fundamental for the series really confuses me. Sorry if this is too spoilerly for your followers, maybe you could answer under a read more but please do! xx
ahahahaha ohgawd i’d cry for about 80 zillion different reasons if that happened
but regenerative qualities tend not to be a part of the red god bringing you back from the dead

I wanted to hear your thoughts on the changes they've made to Shae in the show. I'm a big fan of their development of her character, it's refreshing after all of the fuck ups they've had with their treatment of the other female characters. However there has been a lot of outlash about the gendered nature of some characters deaths, and it occured to me last night that if they give her the end she has in the book I will be fucking pissed. Thoughts?
Shae on the show is sort of an enigma to me to be honest. And I don’t know how I feel about her. But then again I liked her in the books right up until that one shocking moment.
So there’s that.

whats up w/ the sherlock fandom, what actually happened
a good majority of them decided to play the elitist card when it came to the announcement of the american television series of elementary (including Moffat himself)
and then for a very long time the elementary tracked tag was full of bbc sherlock fans making fun of the potential of elementary and specifically of the ‘joan’ instead of ‘john’ watson part
a lot of them complained that because it was now a relationship between a man and woman it MUST become romantic
so on and so forth
basically it was just fucking sad and i’m sorry for all of the bbc sherlock fans who didn’t do that shit because they have gotten a pretty bad rep now

I would just like to say thanks for explaining the white saviour complex in regards to real world influence in a rational way. I've been attemping to make that very point to people who claim "white people" don't exist in GoT like they do in reality but it usually ends up with me poking them and mumbling "real life context" at them. So I appreciate the way you have considered it and hope you don't mind me using your arguments should be need arise?
It’s fine because at the end of the day the Valyrian Freehold was an imperialistic empire that set out and conquered most of Essos and in doing so enslaved people. They did so to gather free labor to mine dragonglass and what not out of the volcanos of Valyria. They worked them to death.
Daenerys regardless of her disconnect with a long gone people is STILL a part of that people. It’s her heritage, that she can not deny and no one can deny it of her. That’s blood.
In the end even though her intentions are good they are not without fault and hopefully the show does it’s job in deconstructing their apparently intentional idolization of her.
aeslin-mouse asked:
About Dany's arc: It doesn't surprise that there are fans that (again) think this was handled less problematic in the books. I know that GRRM tries to give Dany more flaws, but to my mind, he's really better at taking apart other tropes. Whether the show will problematize it - I'm not sure? So many people just seem to adore Dany, and especially this season, her storyline has been pure epic fantasy. They could easily proof me wrong of course, but for now, I'm not convinced they will.
I have hopes. I shall cling to them!
